Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop high-power power electronic systems, including AC-DC, DC-DC, and inverter topologies.
  • •Select power semiconductor devices and gate drivers, and design output filters and modulation/control techniques.
  • •Perform circuit simulations and analyses (steady-state/transient, worst-case/tolerance/stress/derating) and electrical design validation.
  • •Execute hardware development lifecycle activities: prototyping, debugging, verification, validation, and qualification testing.
  • •Integrate power electronic subsystems into larger systems and support standards compliance and project planning/execution for technical deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics (or related) with 3–5 years of experience.
  • •Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives Engineering with 2–4 years of experience.
  • •Strong power electronics foundation including inverter and converter design with knowledge of AC-DC, DC-DC, and inverter topologies.
  • •Hands-on simulation and analysis using tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, and performing steady-state/transient and worst-case analyses.
  • •Ability to design and develop high-frequency magnetics and execute hardware development through verification, qualification, and reliability analysis (including FMEA).
