Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Asset Maintenance Team with preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor labour-oriented maintenance using basic tools.
  • •Respond to incidents on the track, viaduct, and electrical, mechanical, and electronics systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • •Support day-to-day maintenance and preventive tasks with the Asset Maintenance Technicians.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance checks of cleaning equipment such as industrial vacuum cleaners, high pressure cleaning machines, and other specialised cleaning equipment.
  • •Maintain electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems relating to rolling stock, automatic train control, communications, and the high-voltage traction supply system, and help collate reports for senior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in maintenance of buildings and structures, including general structural maintenance and repairs of buildings, viaducts and tunnels.
  • •Experience in structural repairs such as structural stitching, grouting, scaffolding, pressure pointing, re-casing, and related structural maintenance is preferable.
  • •Ability to understand and adhere to structure work instructions.
  • •Ability to multi-task, manage various tasks, and provide good communication.
  • •Strong organisational, time management, and prioritising skills.
