Key Responsibilities

  • •Occupy client or service roles involving sponsorship and/or strategic requirements, and act as the link between organisational strategy and delivery.
  • •Manage client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
  • •Lead or contribute to bid proposal preparation and manage key bids.
  • •Support clients with securing funding and developing/overseeing business cases, approvals, and realisation of agreed benefits.
  • •Provide governance, assurance, compliance, and oversight for risks, issues, and change, ensuring controlled mitigations and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery programmes, portfolios, or transformative organisations in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • •Degree-level education, membership of a relevant professional body, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of the project lifecycle, including business case development and mapping benefits and outcomes to define project requirements.
  • •Experience navigating planning, regulatory, political and environmental constraints.
  • •Strong commercial acumen including investment planning, contractual/commercial negotiations, and ownership of financial status.
