Job Summary

Manage credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio administration for Commercial Banking relationships. Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests, oversee renewals and modifications, and support the loan approval and closing process. Partner with Relationship Managers as a liaison to the Credit Department and internal support teams, including exception tracking, financial reporting, covenant compliance, and annual loan reviews to maintain strong credit quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct due diligence and analysis for new client relationships and opportunity memos.
•Manage renewals and coordinate loan closing activities with Relationship Managers, clients, and the credit department.
•Prepare loan packages and participate in loan approval processes, including presentations.
•Support modification/amendment/waiver processing for existing credit agreements and assist with coordinating document review and closing.
•Monitor loan repayment and borrowers’ financial conditions, manage portfolio administration, exception tracking, financial reporting, covenant compliance, and perform annual loan reviews as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with business concentration preferred.
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some form of financial spreading software.
•2-3 years of banking experience related to credit analysis/underwriting.
•Strong written and analytical skills, with an understanding of credit policy and procedures to evaluate cash-flow and collateral-based credits.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
