Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and qualify system power to meet requirements for new products.
  • •Develop and execute test plans for upcoming power designs and document procedures, plans, and specifications.
  • •Assist in resolving power-related field/product issues for assigned projects.
  • •Engage with power supply vendors to develop power supplies meeting Cisco quality and timeline requirements.
  • •Perform design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layout and routing; conduct failure analysis, RCA, and corrective action reporting including 8D reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or power electronics with 6+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year related experience.
  • •Experience with power design or power electronics or analog design.
  • •Experience with power design topologies such as buck and buck-boost and designing for highest efficiency.
  • •Experience using tools including Concept, Allegro, LTspice, PSpice, Simplis, Mathcad, PowerDC, SIWave, Ansys, or Hyperlynx.
