Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop demand and sales forecasting models to improve prediction quality across retail time series.
  • •Measure promotion effectiveness, including lift, price elasticity, and cannibalization.
  • •Build statistical data-quality checks and evaluation methods to keep models honest.
  • •Turn data into models and analyses that ship inside the product, not just slide decks.
  • •Collaborate with the AI/ML engineering team to productionize exploratory work into production-grade insights.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on data science experience with real-world (not benchmark) data.
  • •Strong statistical foundations including regression, time-series methods, experiment design, and uncertainty quantification.
  • •Fluent in Python and SQL, comfortable working in a modern data stack (Snowflake and dbt).
  • •Validate and sanity-check analyses and communicate uncertainty to ensure results are correct.
  • •Able to explain models to non-technical brand operators and defend them to ML engineers.
