Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog.
•Provide SME expertise in Service Provider backbone, enterprise LAN/WAN, and enterprise DWDM.
•Plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance NIH Network and TIC Services capabilities, capacity, and performance.
•Lead the transition of user-accepted designs and services to Operations and Security Teams.
•Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance; maintain architecture documentation; troubleshoot issues; support security implementation and vulnerability remediation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 108,310 - 149,027 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree with 12+ years (or commensurate experience).
•CCIE Certification (written and practical).
•Cisco certification specializations in Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless (in order of importance).
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
•Subject matter expertise in Service Provider backbone, enterprise LAN/WAN, and enterprise DWDM.
