Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance NVIDIA’s in-house physical design flow across floorplan, power/clock distribution, placement, routing, and analysis (timing/power/noise).
  • •Work on chip assembly and physical verification as part of the physical design flow.
  • •Develop and explore in-house tools for the physical design process.
  • •Identify AI solutions to improve workflow efficiency and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing MS (or higher) in EE, CS, and Mathematics/Physics.
  • •Knowledge of the whole IC design flow, especially synthesis, timing, floorplan, congestion, and DRC analysis.
  • •Fundamentals of algorithms and programming skills.
  • •Fast learning ability and strong debugging skills from past hands-on projects.
  • •Hands-on background in IC design or physical design, plus experience with a popular programming language (Python/tcl) and/or DL/ML projects.
