Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise the daily production of photovoltaic modules in accordance with quality standards and cost-efficient performance across multiple plant areas.
  • •Lead, manage, and participate in continuous improvement activities/teams and support safety and good housekeeping standards including the 5S system.
  • •Train and mentor Supervisor I associates and coordinate on-the-job training for manufacturing associates.
  • •Control costs to maintain budget accuracy; monitor and coordinate Work In Process (WIP) optimization between manufacturing units.
  • •Maintain training matrices and associate records in SolarConnect, track training progress, manage inventory accuracy, and conduct performance appraisals.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Meet one of the required experience criteria: 1 year First Solar supervisory experience, or 4 years supervisory experience in manufacturing/warehouse/textile/agricultural/material inspection, or 6 years supervisory experience plus 2 years in those settings.
  • •Experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
  • •Experience in electrical, mechanical, and chemical industrial applications.
  • •Efficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, with effective communication and supervisory skills.
