Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose root causes with real-time information.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; maintain service vehicle cleanliness and professionalism.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance and assist in training lower-level technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
  • •Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements; safety-sensitive role requires passing a 10 panel drug screen.
