Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end GCP data platform implementations focused on BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Composer, or custom tools.
•Architect and optimize high-volume data ingestion, transformation, and querying workflows for BI and ML workloads.
•Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and executives to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and deliver value through clear communication.
•Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices for security, cost optimization, and scalability.
•Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning, and support hybrid/multi-cloud integration and GCP migration projects with minimal downtime.

Key Requirements

•10-12 years of total IT/cloud consulting experience with at least 5+ years hands-on GCP experience (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow/ETL).
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Proven ability to lead GCP data projects with measurable outcomes (e.g., reduced ETL latency, scaled Pub/Sub event throughput).
•Strong stakeholder communication skills, including executive presentations and participation in agile ceremonies.
•Preferred: GCP certifications such as Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.
