Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and mark facilities per the Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during encroachments and excavation.
  • •Conduct pipeline patrols, population density surveys, leak detection surveys, and inspections per Company procedures.
  • •Coordinate local Damage Prevention activities and provide oversight/inspection for excavation near pipeline facilities to ensure compliance.
  • •Inspect projects related to excavation near pipeline facilities and repair of pipeline facilities, including documentation, as-built drawings, and contractor oversight.
  • •Represent the Company with landowners/tenants, public officials/emergency officials, and participate in safety and governmental compliance activities; train and oversee personnel as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience analyzing, adjusting, and making minor repairs on compressor engines, pumps, and associated equipment.
  • •Knowledge of compressor or pump station, process plant, gas treatment, storage facilities, and gathering/transmission pipeline operations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
  • •Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high- and low-pressure systems.
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (and driving record satisfactory to the company).
