Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead the US industry and regulatory affairs strategy, including the annual advocacy roadmap, stakeholder mapping, and engagement plans.
  • •Anticipate, assess, and escalate regulatory, political, and geopolitical developments impacting Amadeus’ US business and market access.
  • •Lead senior-level engagement with US institutional stakeholders, trade associations, diplomatic services, and government contacts.
  • •Drive executive alignment on Amadeus positions, advocacy messages, and response strategies across Business Units, Legal, Corporate Strategy, and Corporate Communications.
  • •Lead cross-functional working groups and represent Amadeus in selected senior forums and institutional meetings; measure and report outcomes against policy and market access priorities.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Economics, Business, Law, International Relations, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent senior professional experience).
  • •Minimum 15–20 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, industry affairs, or strategic stakeholder management.
  • •Proven track record leading complex advocacy strategies in highly regulated environments with exposure to senior decision makers.
  • •Documented results influencing at institutional, public policy, government, or trade association level, including coordination of external advisers and coalitions.
  • •Sound knowledge of the US political, regulatory, and institutional landscape and how it affects technology, travel, digital services, and market access.
