Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide project guidance and mentorship for 46 kV–138 kV overhead distribution/transmission projects.
  • •Lead and execute engineering for distribution/transmission projects up to 138kV, including concept development, planning, and design deliverables.
  • •Create and maintain project schedules and facilitate weekly/bi-weekly project meetings and deliverable tracking.
  • •Coordinate project workflow and communication across multidisciplinary teams and with internal/external clients.
  • •Support QA/QC procedures and mentor staff on PLS-CADD, structural/foundation design, loading, construction documentation, and construction support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 and strong knowledge of applicable engineering and electrical construction laws, codes, and regulations.
  • •Highly proficient with power delivery engineering principles and the operation of PLS-CADD.
