Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate mechanical and instrumentation equipment (including pumps, motors, control valves, meters, tank gauging, and SCADA equipment).
  • •Maintain and repair electrical equipment including switchgear, motor control centers, remote station control systems, transmitters, PLC-based controllers, lighting circuits, safety systems, and automated fire control systems.
  • •Maintain required DOT and CMV logs/documentation and keep accurate maintenance and repair records for area equipment.
  • •Assist in training other technicians and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety and public safety.
  • •Support regional/corporate projects as needed, including preventive/predictive maintenance, vendor coordination, and potential preoperational testing, startup, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or technical school degree (or equivalent preferred).
  • •Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder diagrams, mechanical drawings, and aerial strip maps; maintain as-built drawings.
  • •Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing refined petroleum products pipeline systems and station/terminal equipment.
  • •Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions, including DOT requirements for calibration and maintenance records, inspections, and reports.
  • •Satisfactory driving record with a current valid State driver’s license; ability to pass the Commercial Motor Vehicle physical; may require TWIC where applicable.
