Key Responsibilities

•Plan sequences of operations, estimate time required, and write process sheets and bills of materials.
•Determine manufacturing methods and processes from part drawings for fabrication and assembly of complex products.
•Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and material, including make or buy decisions and facility layout for new or revised products.
•Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing problems and provide technical support to operations.
•Consult with design or projects engineering regarding suitability or producibility of molds, fixtures, or parts and provide cross-functional guidance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,800 - 165,200 annually

Key Requirements

•A University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
•U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
•Proficiency on the computer with Microsoft Office and CAD software or similar experience is required. SAP or Solumina experience is desired.
•Able to interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
•Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (ACE, 6s, etc.). Participation in or trained in Design To Cost philosophy.
