Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and NestJS, with optional .NET integrations for enterprise/legacy systems. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance services. Focus on RESTful APIs, database design, performance optimization, and robust testing in a collaborative, enterprise context.

Key Responsibilities

•Backend Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS. Build modular, scalable, and maintainable server-side architectures.
•API Development: Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs (and GraphQL where applicable). Ensure APIs are secure, performant, well-documented, and versioned.
•Database Design & Integration: Design and optimize relational and/or NoSQL databases. Write efficient queries, indexes, and migrations. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and performance.
•Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in APIs, database queries, and services. Apply caching, async processing, and other optimization techniques.
•Security Integration: Contribute to or integrate with existing .NET / ASP.NET Core services; implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
•Proven experience developing backend systems using Node.js and NestJS
•Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture
•Solid experience with database design and SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
•Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures, and scalability concepts
