Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply secure software engineering principles to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software and cloud infrastructure.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements, architecture, and technology direction, and select appropriate approaches.
  • •Build scalable, resilient, and secure systems using microservices/service-oriented architecture and well-designed service boundaries and APIs.
  • •Develop and operate software in production with automated testing, CI/CD delivery, and observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, incident triage).
  • •Use agile principles to deliver business value through continuous improvement and sustainability, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule if required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination (e.g., master’s with 2 years, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 12 years without a degree).
  • •Professional experience designing, building, and maintaining production software in modern object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, Python, C++).
  • •Strong object-oriented design fundamentals (encapsulation, composition, SOLID, dependency injection) and judgment in applying design patterns.
  • •Experience delivering software with microservices/service-oriented architecture and defining service boundaries, versioning APIs, and handling distributed failure modes.
  • •Proficiency designing and consuming HTTP/REST APIs (or gRPC/GraphQL equivalents) with contract design, backward compatibility, and authentication/authorization patterns.
