Senior Technical Product Manager II to drive security products from strategy to delivery, partnering with engineering and UX to translate customer needs into clear requirements, workflows, and releases. You’ll own end-to-end execution across security workstreams, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and craft narratives, templates, and launch assets to ensure successful product launches and incident communications while improving customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the end-to-end execution of one or more Security Products workstreams, translating strategy and customer needs into clear requirements, sequencing, and shippable increments.
•Serve as the technical product owner for your scope by maintaining a healthy backlog, writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria, and keeping engineering unblocked through fast decisions and clear tradeoffs.
•Partner deeply with engineering leadership to drive delivery planning, estimates, dependency management, and release readiness, with a focus on predictable outcomes and minimal rework.
•Collaborate with UX and UI to design simple security experiences in the DigitalOcean console and API, then convert designs into actionable requirements, workflows, and instrumentation needs.
•Work cross-functionally across Security, IAM, Networking, Support, Billing, and service teams to ensure integrated customer journeys, clear ownership boundaries, and clean remediation paths.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 159,200 - 199,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related technical field
•Prior product experience in cloud, SaaS, or security products
•Strong ability to partner with engineering teams at a high level of technical detail
•Experience translating strategy and customer needs into clear engineering requirements, sequencing, and shippable increments
•Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear requirements and documentation
