Job Summary

Provide advanced subject matter expertise and steady-state support for messaging and collaboration services in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and MS Teams. Handle escalations, critical issues, on-call support, and maintenance activities, including patching and upgrades. Manage SharePoint administration tasks (permissions, health checks, monitoring, search, and retention) and support Exchange Online and related M365 security/compliance operations using ITSM processes and root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services, resolving complex issues with minimal disruption to end users.
•Perform steady-state operations for SharePoint and related services, including monitoring, health checks, capacity management, proactive configuration management, and reporting.
•Handle escalations and on-call responsibilities, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures for failed components.
•Support maintenance and change activities such as patching/upgrades and server/software installation, ensuring security hardening and compliance.
•Manage SharePoint administration tasks (site administration, permissions, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, templates, search and retention configuration) and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

•Provide deep subject matter expertise for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and MS Teams.
•Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection administration, permissions models, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
•Knowledge of hybrid M365 environments, integration with on-premises systems, and identity concepts including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD Connect).
•Experience using ITSM tools/platform to manage Request, Incident, Change, and problem management.
•Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to end users.
