Key Responsibilities

•Lead multiple project teams of mechanical hardware engineers and internal/outsourced partners responsible for mechanical and thermal development across solution design, validation, tooling, and testing.
•Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring resources and timelines align with program and organizational roadmaps.
•Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design and development.
•Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards, providing feedback to improve product quality.
•Provide mechanical/thermal domain expertise across cross-organization projects and drive innovation by integrating new technologies into project activities.

Key Requirements

•Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
•Typically 7-10 years of work experience in engineering design/solutions or across the hardware development lifecycle.
•Experience in mechanical and thermal development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, validation, tooling, and testing.
•Knowledge of mechanical/thermal design, including simulation and engineering design methods such as finite element methods.
•Ability to provide guidance and mentoring, and lead teams working with internal and outsourced development partners.
