  • •Unclog AR by working 30/60/90+ aging buckets, prioritizing high-dollar claims, and resolving denials and rejections to maximize cash flow.
  • •Drive touchless claim rate improvements by identifying patterns and rule opportunities in Candid to reduce the need for human review.
  • •Partner with practices to address denials: gather information, resolve issues, and prevent recurring denial patterns.
  • •Handle escalated claim-level billing inquiries and perform one-off research to provide clear, accurate answers to providers.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on AR resolution experience (denials, rejections, appeals, aging buckets, and prioritization).
  • •Behavioral health billing experience with comfort handling medication management visits, psychotherapy add-on codes, and telehealth delivery.
  • •Ability to manage modern E&M and telehealth billing, including reading payer reimbursement policies and applying telehealth modifier rules.
  • •Major payer portal experience such as Availity, Navinet, PayerCompass, or payer-specific portals.
  • •Familiarity with AI-native workflows (e.g., Claude or Gemini) and startup comfort in shifting priorities.
