Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead environmental assessments including PSA, DSA, QRA, DQRA, and CSM development to ensure accurate evaluations.
  • •Oversee groundwater and surface water monitoring to provide data for project analysis and decisions.
  • •Design and implement site investigations, setting the rationale and examining sites in geochemical and hydrogeological contexts.
  • •Develop, optioneer, specify, detail, execute, and validate remediation projects to restore sites and meet environmental standards.
  • •With senior staff support, engage in providing strategic client advice on managing and mitigating impacts on surface waters and groundwater.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic background in geochemical and hydrogeological aspects of geoscience, engineering hydrology, or related subjects.
  • •Wide experience in geochemical and hydrogeological contaminated land assessment and management.
  • •Strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
  • •Hands-on experience in field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, monitoring system installation, and groundwater/ground gas sampling.
  • •Sustained experience in hydrogeological site characterisation and risk assessment, with numerical modelling advantageous.
