Job Summary

Provide managed networking services by proactively detecting and resolving complex client incidents and problems. Maintain uptime and ensure zero missed SLA conditions through monitoring, incident logging, root-cause analysis, vendor escalation, and operational improvements. Configure and verify client infrastructure, perform onsite technical support and field engineering, and conduct reviews to recommend quality enhancements. Coach and mentor junior team members and support disaster recovery testing as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
•Perform monitoring checks, respond to alerts, and log incidents with required detail.
•Investigate assigned third-line support calls to identify root cause and resolve complex issues.
•Assist with analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls, including escalation to 3rd-party vendors when needed.
•Conduct monthly reviews of incidents/service requests and recommend quality and operational improvements, including automation opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•CCNP or equivalent certification.
•Seasoned experience in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organisation.
•Seasoned experience delivering Managed Services.
•Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes and experience working with vendors/3rd parties.
