Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced adjustments and repairs, including panel and bumper replacement/repair, heavy wreck repairs, suspension, structural frame repair, parts removal, caulking/sealing, fiberglass work, and plastic repair.
  • •Support and assist Truck Body Shop Technician I/II/with advanced/complicated repairs and help identify and resolve parts needs with service writer/estimator/parts.
  • •Identify problems and determine accuracy/relevance of information to recommend appropriate alternatives; triage complicated repairs.
  • •Inspect repaired and primed panels for proper body repairs and primer application.
  • •Maintain documentation and compliance: record work findings on repair orders using company device and/or Karmak, follow safety protocols, and communicate RO findings with the shop manager/support team.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as 3 years with additional discipline degree/certification, or 7 years in the related field).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred.
  • •Successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment (or submit a current DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license; safe drivers needed with 3 YR MVR review and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
