Job Summary

Drive supplier development for Airbus Vietnam’s commercial aircraft procurement organization, acting as Airbus’ on-site “eyes, ears, and voice” with key Vietnam suppliers. Lead assessments of industrial maturity, define tactical plans and improvement roadmaps with stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-quality delivery and ramp-up readiness. Coach cross-functional teams, execute special process and audit actions, and deliver mission outputs including operational and risk reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess suppliers’ industrial maturity and develop suppliers as needed to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery and ramp-up readiness.
•Define and execute tactical plans and improvement roadmaps with procurement, quality, programs, engineering, and manufacturing stakeholders.
•Lead transformations and implement improvement plans to stabilize or improve suppliers’ performance.
•Build and develop project teams with supplier and Airbus people, and represent Airbus while protecting customers’ interests.
•Establish action plans for audits and special processes, and deliver mission outputs such as SDM mission reports, operational reports, risk/opportunity reports, and crisis management support.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•More than 8 years of industrial experience in aeronautics, space, defense, automotive, and/or other relevant industries.
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (technical preferred).
•Experience on shop-floor operations and manufacturing process knowledge.
•Experience with supply chain management and quality methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma.
•Quality management, quality problem solving, and project management experience; Airbus qualified special process auditor is desirable.
