Job Summary

Own the compliance framework for the French market in a fast-paced fintech environment. Review and update policies to reflect new EU and local regulations, conduct gap analysis, and implement requirements in controls and systems. Draft regulatory periodic deliverables and communications, monitor the 1LoD, and liaise with France regulators/FIUs while supporting SAR review and escalation processes. Translate reporting rules into operational guidelines and support Senior Management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Review and update policies and procedures, including researching local requirements, performing gap analysis, and translating new EU/local regulations into reporting guidance.
•Implement local requirements in firm systems and controls and coordinate follow-up with other departments.
•Draft regulatory periodic deliverables and regulatory communications; gather information/data for reporting to Senior Management.
•Liaise with local regulators/FIUs in France and support SAR review and external SAR drafting where appropriate.
•Perform controls and monitoring of the 1LoD (when not covered by another team), investigate potential policy breaches, and support escalations involving EDD, transactions, PEPs, sanctions, and risk downgrades.

Key Requirements

•At least three years of compliance experience within the financial industry, with significant experience dedicated to the French market and a solid background in French regulatory compliance.
•Previous experience as a Compliance Officer and/or MLRO in a fast-paced fintech environment is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of regulatory reporting rules, including prior experience using regulators’ tools and platforms.
•Professional AML qualifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or an equivalent AML certification.
•Fluency in English and French (written and spoken), with strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and autonomous working skills.
