Job Summary

Lead and coordinate Environmental & Social Management Systems (ESMS) across Alcazar Energy projects, ensuring alignment with ESIA/ESAP, lender requirements, and international ESG standards. Oversee E&S studies, liaise with internal teams and external consultants, and support ISO certifications and project-level ESMS development.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement the corporate ESMS and project-specific ESMSs to align with ESIA/ESAP, investor and lender requirements
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international, regional, and local ESG standards and legislation
•Coordinate with internal resources and external consultants to deliver ESMS activities and ISO certification efforts
•Conduct E&S screening and due diligence for investment opportunities and coordinate ESIA studies with consultants
•Prepare E&S components of tender submissions and manage E&S/QHSE contractual obligations with EPC/Suppliers/BOP/O&M contractors

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Degree in Environmental discipline or related field; Master’s degree preferred
•Minimum 12 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)
•Significant experience with ESMS development and environmental & social sustainability standards (IFC/EBRD/EIB)
•Strong ability to coordinate with internal teams and external consultants and manage tender/subcontractor processes
•Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and produce high-quality reports and documentation
