Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage existing and/or create and manage operational compliance programs, ensuring workflow quality and adherence to time commitments and parameters.
  • •Assist Rules and Compliance senior management with annual strategy preparation and execution, tracking objectives and results.
  • •Manage assigned Compliance team to prioritize workload, balance priorities, align with SLAs, and meet objectives and milestone dates.
  • •Act as escalation point for first-level exceptions and client issues; oversee Non-Compliance Assessments and other agreed reporting.
  • •Negotiate complex compliance action plans with clients at senior officer level and provide advice and interpretation of Visa Rules to clients and staff.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
  • •8+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, payment card, banking, audit, or compliance (per preferred qualifications).
  • •Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to negotiate and influence customers and staff, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • •Excellent writing skills to explain complex topics in plain English, plus strong analytical and research abilities using data to develop business-oriented solutions.
  • •Proven project management skills to coordinate divergent interests and manage a multi-faceted compliance program internationally.
