Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •3 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience (or equivalent education, training, and experience); Engineering Interns (EI) may be eligible without experience.
  • •Ability to attain required NCDOT certifications within 90 days +/- (as class scheduling allows).
  • •Ability to keep accurate records, compute field data, and read and interpret construction plans.
  • •Ability to follow workplace safety policies and perform physical activities required for testing and inspection.
