Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full engineering lifecycle for BitGo Labs products, from the first commit to first customer.
  • •Translate warm specs into architecture that can ship within ninety days and choose buildable, boring technology on purpose.
  • •Build the complete product stack (frontend, backend, data, deployment) and integrate BitGo custody, wallet, stablecoin, and settlement rails.
  • •Use AI to accelerate delivery while applying strong judgment about where AI fails.
  • •Ship to real users, instrument everything, and keep iterating; then wind down or double down based on results.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building full-stack products with modern frontend, API/service design, data modeling, and cloud deployment.
  • •Experience shipping products from zero-to-one or being the first engineer on a true startup team.
  • •Ability to use AI as part of daily engineering workflow to materially increase throughput and know when not to trust outputs.
  • •Comfort with crypto fundamentals (wallets, stablecoins, settlement) enough to consume them as APIs.
  • •Strong judgment around security and money-handling tradeoffs and the ability to discard code when a product is shut down.
