Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct value stream analysis to assess current operations and define a future-state vision by identifying obstacles and organizing teams to change.
  • •Plan and execute Rapid Improvement Events (Just Do It actions) to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
  • •Train and coach staff using Gemba walks and basic Lean methodologies (flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work, visual management).
  • •Ensure adherence to Rapid Improvement Event standard work during pre-work, event week, and post-event weeks with strong engagement and collaboration.
  • •Collaborate with the Value Stream Coach, Site Leader, Department Managers, and Supervisors to resolve implementation/maintenance issues and perform Value Stream Coach duties when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Lean environment, training, coaching, and developing Lean principles and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • •Experience facilitating at least 30 successful Rapid Improvement events using a defined process, improving operational and financial metrics.
  • •Knowledge of Lean methodologies including flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work, and visual management.
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively speaking with various audiences.
  • •Associates or Bachelor of Science degree preferred (equivalent experience/training considered in lieu of a formal degree).
