Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects, including schedules, project parameters, and procedures to meet system objectives.
  • •Support engineering programming and material selection activities for the assigned projects.
  • •Assist with establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates and monitoring cost at completion.
  • •Assist in preparing sub-contractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans/milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners regarding scope, budgets, performance, close-out, and project issues.
  • •Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program throughout the entire internship; completed at least the sophomore/2nd year by internship start.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods (coursework/projects, construction-focused involvement, or related hands-on exposure).
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance, with no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified recent violations).
