Key Responsibilities

  • •In conjunction with or in the absence of management staff, guide daily store operations and hourly associate activities to drive customer service and maximize sales.
  • •Conduct one-on-one and/or small group training for sales associates on product knowledge, store activities, job duties, and policies/procedures.
  • •Assist with merchandise display setup (windows, showcases, and sales floor) and support product flow from stockroom to sales floor.
  • •Monitor and maintain sales floor fill-in process and communicate product levels, assortments, and progress on assigned projects to management.
  • •Perform or assist with documentation for applicants and new hires, support staffing/labor cost control, and resolve customer complaints/returns to restore service quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • •Three to six months of retail experience is preferred.
  • •Able to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and a point of sale system.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills and good judgment/decision making.
  • •Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays; overtime during peak periods.
