Job Summary

Safely and efficiently support PBV warehouse operations by handling product and materials through receiving, check-in/check-out, sorting, staging, pallet building, wrapping, and load-out preparation. Verify quantities and quality, maintain accurate warehouse records, and count returned goods. Operate yard switcher, tractors/trailers, forklifts, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment, troubleshooting basic system issues and following food safety and GMP procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely perform a variety of warehouse duties including pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, pallet building, wrapping, transporting, counting, and quality checks.
•Verify accuracy and quality of products received and shipped; maintain records such as bill of lading, receivers, and pick tickets.
•Operate yard switcher/tractors and trailers for loading and unloading, and safely operate warehouse material handling equipment to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, and load/unload.
•Interact with automation systems and screens, voice pick systems, and warehouse management systems to build, finish, and verify pallets and ensure accurate load-outs and inventory counts.
•Perform safety pre-trip checks, basic cleaning/maintenance on automation systems, follow GMP and food safety rules, and complete janitorial tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

•Pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV material handling equipment.
•At least a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
•Computer/Human Machine Interface skills.
•Mechanical aptitude and good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
•Be able to read and understand product labels and load ticket instructions, including counting large quantities of products and materials.
