Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial, and financial matters for transport planning projects.
  • •Technically lead pedestrian modelling, including model development, calibration/validation, and handling complex modelling issues.
  • •Help prepare scope and fee estimates for new projects and ensure delivery to budget and KPIs.
  • •Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance technical skills and professional development.
  • •Produce technical reports and presentations and support client contact and liaison.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable experience technically leading pedestrian modelling projects and supporting transport users’ needs.
  • •Strong experience using pedestrian modelling software such as Legion or Viswalk.
  • •Proficiency developing models, undertaking calibration and validation, and producing reports and presentations to a high technical standard.
  • •Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent working knowledge of MS Office, plus ability to address complex modelling issues.
  • •Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Transport planning, with experience supervising workload and supporting junior staff.
