Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and implement Cloudflare environments across DNS, CDN/caching, WAF/DDoS mitigation, Zero Trust, Access, tunnels, and SASE components.
  • •Deliver migrations from incumbent CDN/WAF platforms (including Akamai), handling rule translation, staged deployments, traffic cutovers, and rollback design.
  • •Plan and execute production DNS cutovers with validated rollback at every stage, including pilots and proofs of concept through to production rollouts.
  • •Lead client-facing French technical working sessions (workshops, configuration reviews, cutover rehearsals, and go-live calls) and clearly explain decisions, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • •Work within the delivery model: provide progress updates, escalate design questions, maintain timesheets, and deliver a structured handover into managed services with complete documentation, runbooks, and known risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong practical foundation in DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/certificates, caching/CDN, proxies/reverse proxies, and web application architecture, with the ability to troubleshoot end-to-end browser-to-origin paths.
  • •Solid web application security grounding (WAF concepts, OWASP Top 10, bot mitigation, DDoS patterns, and rate limiting) and comfort using tools like curl, dig, traceroute, browser dev tools, and packet capture when needed.
  • •Scripting/automation capability using Python, Bash, or Terraform, plus experience working with REST APIs; Cloudflare Workers experience is a strong advantage.
  • •Cloudflare implementation experience required for Senior; Mid-level candidates should have strong experience with comparable CDN/WAF or Zero Trust technologies (e.g., Akamai) if Cloudflare experience is not mandatory.
  • •Full professional fluency in French and English, with evidence of production migrations/cutovers under formal change control and client-facing delivery experience.
