Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping while operating and maintaining tools and equipment to meet quality and productivity levels.
  • •Complete required training and provide on-the-job training for tasks where certified, following direction from team leads and supervisors.
  • •Perform preventative and light mechanical maintenance on equipment using hand tools and instrumentation, and address intermediate-level alarms.
  • •Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms, monitor process data (including SPC), and make decisions to maintain process control; escalate when conditions require it.
  • •Operate forklift and crane when required/qualified, work with cross-functional teams on approved tests, and manage inventory levels and waste disposal for the next shift.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •2+ years of manufacturing experience (or substitute experience such as warehousing, textile, agriculture, or material inspection).
  • •Preference for an Associate’s degree or certificate in a technical discipline.
  • •Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with math skills to apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
  • •Ability to work in a team environment with good written and oral communication skills and basic computer application knowledge.
