Job Summary

Develop and implement the BD strategy to drive Julphar’s financial growth through new revenue-generating opportunities. Lead sourcing, screening, evaluation, and market access for new products, including brand registration activities, distribution strategy planning, and contract negotiations. Perform strategic and financial analysis, deliver competitive intelligence, and manage partnerships and licensing arrangements while providing periodic updates to stakeholders and supporting team performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Strategize and execute BD strategy for the product line life cycle in coordination with the HOD, including formulation of tactics to meet quantitative and qualitative objectives.
•Source, screen, evaluate, and lead new products and market access, including identifying in-licensing and international opportunities.
•Build relationships with statutory authorities and the distribution network to achieve business objectives in respective countries.
•Manage contract negotiations and coordinate functional teams to complete agreements; provide market feedback and product development ideas.
•Analyze product distribution needs, initiate brand registration in countries (with forecasts, prices, and market shares), and prepare periodic reports on strategic projects.

Key Requirements

•4+ years Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Commerce.
•Master’s degree in Business Administration (advantage).
•8–10 years pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 4 years in Business Development Manager roles in MEA and other geographies.
•Proven track record pitching for new business and ability to formulate company positions and negotiate agreements.
•Strong working knowledge of distributor/agents operations, government accounts, tendering, contracting, and pricing methods.
