Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain the global inventory strategy aligned with business objectives, customer service targets, and financial goals.
  • •Develop inventory segmentation, target-setting methodologies, and stocking strategies across finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
  • •Lead the design and deployment of inventory planning models (e.g., safety stock, cycle stock, buffer strategies, postponement) and optimize inventory positioning across the network.
  • •Define global inventory KPIs (inventory turns, DOI, service level, obsolescence, working capital) and analyze drivers/root causes to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • •Provide thought leadership to regional inventory teams and partner with Finance and planning functions to improve working capital planning and forecast-to-inventory integration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •7–10+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or operations with global or regional scope.
  • •Demonstrated experience defining inventory strategies and influencing outcomes in complex, multi-site environments.
  • •Strong expertise in inventory planning concepts such as safety stock, service levels, variability, and segmentation.
  • •Proficiency with planning systems (e.g., SAP, o9, Blue Yonder) and data tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python (preferred).
