Key Responsibilities

  • •Invent, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to mitigate business risks in TikTok products/platforms.
  • •Build prototypes, run experiments to validate hypotheses, and communicate insights and recommendations to Product and Tech teams.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary science, engineering, and business stakeholders to improve automation processes.
  • •Develop efficient data querying infrastructure for offline and online analysis to detect evolving attack patterns and improve risk defenses.
  • •Define risk control measurements, quantify/monitor risk metrics, and maintain technical documentation with effective writing, visualizations, and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a relevant STEM field, with programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
  • •3+ years of hands-on experience building and delivering machine learning models for large-scale projects.
  • •Proven experience developing and implementing models and visualizations using Scala, Python, R, Ruby, and/or Matlab.
  • •Experience with forecasting, machine learning, and statistical tools, with clear communication of results and plans.
  • •Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
