Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, mentor, and grow an I&C engineering team, including 1:1s, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • •Own delivery of safety-critical I&C designs through commissioning, including I&C roadmap ownership and architecture/control strategy definition for DCS and PLC-based systems.
  • •Drive technical alignment across I&C and reactor physics, thermal-hydraulics, and balance of plant engineering teams.
  • •Oversee system integration and validation using simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and modeling; lead FAT and SAT strategies for prototype configurations.
  • •Enforce nuclear quality assurance compliance, prepare documentation for regulatory audits and licensing activities, and review/approve evaluations, test procedures, and engineering changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Nuclear, or Control Systems Engineering (or closely related).
  • •Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing project resources or technical project execution.
  • •Strong expertise with PLCs, DCS architectures, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and balance of plant dynamics.
  • •Deep familiarity with nuclear safety-related standards (e.g., IEEE 603, IEC 61513) and nuclear design control environments.
  • •Experience in first-of-a-kind or advanced reactor design concepts from baseline through deployment.
