Job Summary

Lead WSP’s Irvine Site Investigation & Remediation Environmental Geology practice, driving business development, client care, and sales/revenue goals across industrial, government, energy, and transportation sectors. Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, oversee contaminated soil and groundwater remediation programs, and provide leadership for technical reports, proposals, pricing, budgets, and regulatory-compliant project delivery. Serve as a liaison to agencies and stakeholders, translating complex data into sound scientific conclusions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform business development for environmental remediation, engineering, and related services across multiple sectors.
•Provide leadership for technical reports, proposals, work scopes, pricing, budgets, and performance metrics for the scientific discipline.
•Design, oversee, mentor, and direct staff- and project-level engineers, including managing multiple projects to meet deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
•Drive compliance and accountability with applicable Federal, State, and Local environment laws and regulatory requirements.
•Serve as a liaison to external agencies, clients, subcontractors, and community entities, interpreting complex data into scientific and regulatory conclusions.

Key Requirements

•BS in Geology, Earth Sciences or related science field.
•20+ years related environmental investigation/remediation and sales experience in California, including direct client account management.
•Consulting experience investigating and remediating contaminated soil and groundwater, including petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, and/or PFAS.
•California Professional Geologist’s License.
•Experience with environmental regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board, and CalEPA programs, including soil gas and vapor intrusion.
