Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, cut materials, lay up/build, cure, and finish composite products to meet customer expectations.
  • •Arrange parts for autoclaves, monitor cure data, and clean tools and parts after curing.
  • •Operate equipment by adjusting controls to specifications and record gauge readings, test results, and shift production in logbooks.
  • •Transport materials and products and fill out paperwork to maintain part traceability and accountability in ERP/computerized systems.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance, complete required safety training, and drive safety/quality/delivery/cost metrics while supporting continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a HS Diploma or equivalent; without a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • •Ability to implement procedures set in manufacturing instructions to assemble parts.
  • •Able to read, calculate, measure, and mix ingredients, and document and follow written work instructions and procedures.
  • •Able to properly document materials used and understand the importance of material traceability.
  • •Willingness to be trained to work with chemicals/paints as needed.
