Heavy Equipment Mechanic, JLTV

Maintain and repair wheeled vehicles and related equipment to ensure operational readiness at Fort Hood. Perform detailed inspections of engines, transmissions, power train components, hydraulic and fuel systems, and complete servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Inspect, adjust, and test parts for proper functionality, manage maintenance records and reporting, and plan work area layouts for safety and efficiency while conducting on-the-job training and supervising subordinates.
