Key Responsibilities

  • •Study equipment performance reliability and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Evaluate, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment for company product manufacture.
  • •Use data to improve equipment performance, compile/evaluate data for equipment specification limits and variables, and support reliability improvements.
  • •Manage continuous improvement actions affecting fab performance metrics, including uptime action plans, preventative maintenance schedules, and technical support for equipment repair/process engineering and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
  • •Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Equipment Engineer in Ion Implantation within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • •Equipment experience with Axcelis GSD, Varian E220/E500, and/or AMAT Viista.
  • •Prior experience with Ion Implantation and high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
  • •Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance and documentation, and working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing/SPC.
