Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary onsite support for LMR Zone Core equipment, including servers, network switches, routers, workstations, and storage devices.
  • •Manage planned system maintenance and patching activities, coordinating necessary reboots and ensuring successful backup transmission/receipt between critical servers and BAR servers.
  • •Provide daily first-level troubleshooting and case management, including tracking, reviewing reports, follow-up, and thorough documentation for sustainment reporting.
  • •Support specialized troubleshooting and operations across Motorola ASTRO 25 / Project 25 systems, including AES encryption, capacity management, OTAR, dispatch console systems, and subscriber radios; maintain and repair repeaters and consoles for trunked and conventional LMR systems.
  • •Assist with system integrations/modifications, validate remote site work, document hardware changes with detailed identifiers, and provide administrative/contract support reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma.
  • •4+ years experience as a Systems Technician, Field Technician, Network Engineer, System Manager, or similar technical experience.
  • •U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain required security clearance for the government contract.
  • •Deep understanding of Motorola Solutions P25 Trunking Network Systems and solid working knowledge of Motorola radio systems.
  • •Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) within the first 6 months of employment.
