Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Lead ISSO in planning, staffing, managing, and maintaining the cybersecurity and RMF program for C-17 training systems.
  • •Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures (NIST, DoD, Air Force).
  • •Perform vulnerability and compliance scans, audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses using DoD-approved tools.
  • •Monitor and enforce controls within eMASS and support system accreditation under RMF.
  • •Prepare and maintain RMF security authorization documentation (including SSPs and POA&Ms) and manage security incidents with proper documentation and mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • •At least 5 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
  • •Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
  • •Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • •Ensure cybersecurity activities meet compliance standards under DoD 8500.01 and related directives.
