Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out and supervise the completion of FCAs and FRAs for a variety of schemes.
  • •Provide technical input into sustainable drainage strategies and design for complex schemes.
  • •Oversee preparation of feasibility studies and supporting drawings.
  • •Prepare successful SAB submissions with Welsh Local Authorities and deliver Section 19 Flood Investigations.
  • •Take technical oversight and provide training for junior consultants, supporting tendering and work-winning activities, and lead selected project management activities including financial and programme management.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience delivering flood risk and consequence assessments and/or sustainable drainage strategy solutions in consultancy.
  • •Ability to prepare flood risk and consequence assessments in England and Wales, with experience in flood risk modelling, strategy development, and/or Water EIA.
  • •Experience with drainage strategies and SAB submissions in Wales.
  • •Drainage design using AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling tools such as Causeway Flow/Microdrainage and InfoWorks.
  • •A degree in a relevant environmental, geographical, science or engineering discipline, with active progress towards chartered status (IEng, C.WEM or CEng).
