Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and drive the test automation vision, roadmap, and quality engineering standards for the API Gateway platform.
  • •Design and implement scalable automation frameworks and reusable test harnesses for API functionality, security, performance, resiliency, and compliance.
  • •Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and implement automated regression suites for reliable platform releases.
  • •Lead API Gateway testing for enhancements, upgrades, security policies, routing, authentication/authorization, traffic management, integrations, and production fixes/disaster recovery exercises.
  • •Participate in sprint planning/backlog refinement, create and execute test plans and scenarios, perform defect analysis, mentor engineers, and support UAT/production verification.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation engineering, or quality engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
  • •Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • •Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Postman, Karate, Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and automation using Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • •Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile and DevOps environments.
